Dr. Eleanor Berman

Dr. Eleanor Berman
Eleanor Berman was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota. A graduate of Wisconsin State College. Eleanor earned both her Master's and her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. She was respected toxicologist who was actively involved in many professional organizations and societies, often serving as chief officer. Throughout her career, Eleanor taught Science, Math and Latin; worked as a clinical biochemist and chemistry technician; and authored several books and professional articles.

A true Renaissance woman, Eleanor could speak three languages and read six. She enjoyed reading, cooking and listening to opera. Eleanor also was very observant of Jewish customs, and was a lifelong synagogue member. She passed away on April 30, 2001 at the age of 79, loved and respected by all who knew her.
